Climbing Malignant Mushroom (Feb 17, 2008) in the GHOST!!! Now I've learned to not only look forward to the climbing...

Climbing a dream route with Grant and Fernando (Feb 18, 2008). Hydrophobia was magical. Yesterday's drive was tame by comparison - both the ice and the road were apparently in good condition!

Climbing Hassig's Direct on Cannon Mtn with Danyo (December 25, 2009). Perfect weather, nearly perfect company (it would have been complete if Lesyk was there too) and great ice conditions. We left the parking lot at a lazy 10:00, and still managed to return before dark. SCORE!

Once upon a time the late Guy Lacelle put together a top ice climbs list. Rules were you had to have climbed the route to the top; the climb only gets rated base on the pure ice sections (i.e. Suffer Machine's quality is only based on the ice, not the mixed 1st pitch, which is good too, but beyond the scope of this list); no additional points if route was soloed, or was a low-gravity day, or you were in great company.
